Our CEO Matt Dale, who’s been with The Karis Group since the beginning as a patient advocate, is still leading us to our ultimate goal of all people being able to obtain great care for a fair price but we’re taking a new path to get there. We’re happy to announce The Karis Group is getting acquired by Point Health, a digital health startup that’s creating an easy way for patients to find and shop for medical care. These days, people can shop for everything from the comfort of their phones, so why not healthcare? By partnering our decades of healthcare pricing data and significant healthcare navigation and bill negotiation experience with Point Health’s team of experienced product, technology, and UX design experts we are creating a healthcare navigation and e-commerce platform to help health insurers, health cost sharing communities, and employers make healthcare easier to find, understand, and afford for their members. Our current members will still have access to The Karis Group patient advocacy services as they did before the acquisition.  In Q1 2021, The Karis Group and Point Health will come together as one company using the Point Health brand. The beta version of the new Point Health healthcare navigation and e-commerce platform is available by request to health insurers, health cost sharing communities, employers, and other groups by reaching out to Hello@pointhealth.com.
